NOTICE the very small cage that surrounds this heater being a perfect size for protection and not oversized like big bulky ones on newer heaters sold. Rusting from improper storage, Corrosion or Old Kerosene contamination will not only smell bad, BUT destroy even a Brand New Wick. I removed the top post plate so that can clean underneath areas of and lip. This part was completely SANDED/ PRIME PAINTED, with Rustle High Gloss Heat Paint, to appear like BRAND NEW because it had a dull finish.

Periclean is absolutely the best product available for kerosene heater users because it reduces odors, removes moisture from that fouls wicks, extends wick life and great storage your extra. The METAL POST, and top section, needs to be cleaned of dark brown residue that is common with years wick burning. Don't believe it when told It was only used a couple of times or You won't need to clean this one. Also great for emergency cooking power outages.

The tray is just slightly larger than the heaters base tank to catch any spilled kerosene if needed. Most importantly EVERY CUSTOMER receives my phone number for any questions or problems they may have.
