Details:

Heres the story. I cleaned up the stainless in front. Not bright and shiny, but to the point of natural wear. ALL 4 of the grates are new.

If you would prefer to repaint it, that's pretty simple do. I didn't repaint this unit simply because like the old Worn and Patinae look. It operates on Natural Gas but can easily be converted to Propane. Once the tarnish was removed, these areas were sealed with several coats of good old Johnson's Paste Wax to keep out any moisture and further accumulations rust dirt.

Never been fired. It has an Ugly Spot on the top that looks like someone sat something it ate finish. It also has brown rust stains along the bottom. This old thing was in need of some TLC when I picked it up.

The ceramic grates are ALL New Old Stock. Remove the 4 screws that hold top on and sand repaint. A As you are well aware of, these grates quite pricey by themselves. All these areas as well the entire stove has been given a good cleaning.

This was an Estate Find that's needing a new home.
